    This Classic decades old Downtown favorite plates up some of the best Ham around town along with fabulous Chicken n Waffles and me favorite be Catfish and Eggs with a big O bowl of Grits. Located on Monroe as you enter the Greek Town block this very busy place really has great service and many super sandwiches, Soups n Salads to fill da belly. They have runners delivering that hot delicious food for many blocks around. Get your Catfish crave on right here folks it's battered and cooked to perfection.

    I'm very surprised about the high-quality ratings on this establishment. The food is ok, but the establishment is filthy. The floor is filthy, the seats are filthy, the table tops are filthy. It was truly one of the dirtiest establishments I have ever been in. I'm fairly confident in saying they don't spend much on cleaning products!

    The other reviews that mention the delay in getting helped and being ignored when trying to check out are completely accurate.

    We did not enjoy our experience or food. Came on St. Patrick's day, they were open late for the holiday. Menu is like a Coney Island. Staff was nice. The place however is dirty. Bathroom nasty. And our food was not enjoyable. The waffle was dry. The chicken which they fried for us per request was just not good (pictured). Finally no one told us that we need to go up and pay so we sat for awhile waiting for the server to come back to collect payment. I had to get up and ask. We will not be returning.

    What a great place for a big affordable breakfast! The ham was fresh cut, moist and perfection. Any time we stay in the city, this will be our new breakfast joint!

    This place is so good! I needed a meal I showed up and ordered exactly what I wanted and they brought it to me as though I was in my own kitchen - hot fresh and ready! I tried to go back the next day but I slept in so I missed practice it was a holiday. When I go back to Detroit, I will be sure to go here at least twice.
